06. OCTOBER 2022 “Die Sendung mit der Maus” Visited the ONE LOGIC* Office

Kids explored the world of AI at our Frankfurt office on October 3, 2022. As part of the “Open doors with the mouse” initiative, more than 20 children were able to discover the topics of “Artificial Intelligence” and “Machine Learning” for themselves in a playful way.

ONE LOGIC* participated in WDR’s “Open Doors with the Mouse!” initiative, with kids having the chance to visit ONE LOGIC and explore the world of AI together with Mouse, Elephant and Duck from the beloved German TV show. *We’ve been operating as “One Data” since 2023.

It was anything but business as usual in our Frankfurt office on October 3, 2022: A group of over 20 curious and clever kids and their parents visited us as part of the “Open Doors with the Mouse!” event hosted by WDR (West German Broadcasting Cologne) to find out what AI is all about. This event revolves around the beloved German TV show, “Die Sendung mit der Maus”, which has been teaching children about all manner of important topics for decades.

Companies participating in the initiative had the chance to give children a glimpse into a world they might never have experienced before. At ONE LOGIC, the young attendees tried their hand at solving riddles and discovered how a teachable machine learns to differentiate between plush animals – in this case Elephant, Duck and Mouse from the show.

The children – all aged between 6 and 10 – solved interesting riddles and could even take one of their favorite characters from the show home with them at the end. The event also took the kids on a brief tour of discovery of our office. After all that, who says AI isn’t an issue for kids?

Our thanks to all the children who attended. It was inspiring to see them discover the opportunities of Machine Learning together with the plush animals Mouse, Elephant and Duck. Thanks also to WDR for giving us the chance to participate in this fantastic initiative. Kids are the future of an increasingly digitalized and interconnected world, and this event proved once again that curiosity and hands-on practice are the key to exploring new worlds and developing innovating technologies – both of which push all of us at ONE LOGIC to reach new heights every day!

Now that kids have proven their AI skills, how about you? Get to know us even better and join the team:
